Redemption....a closer look !

…..and redemption means that I can be delivered from the heredity of sin, and that through Jesus Christ I can receive a pure and spotless heredity namely, the Holy Spirit.
Oswald Chambers – My Utmost For His Highest
God is Redemption
The Bible says, “I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your
sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you”
(Isaiah 44:22).
Redemption, wiped clean with not a trace of distaste, for who I am
now in the eyes of God, I’m humbled at the price - Jesus sacrificed His all.
Without God I am:
Guilty, with a price to pay that will cost eternity.
With God I am:
Innocent, free and fully pardoned.
Right Choices:
Redemption is the process of becoming one with the Lord in holiness.
The process requires a lifetime of submission to the enabling power
of our creator. It is a willingness to want more of Him, and less of me
and my sin. An intentional eff ort to put priority on not just living,
but being in harmony and at peace with my heavenly Father, who
loves and cares for me beyond understanding (see Psalm 130:7).
So, what’s on my mind about this…..the deception here is the “hit” of
my sin is like a spark that glows for but a second, only to fade ever so
quickly, while the blessedness of obedience and blessings related lingers
like an old friend on the path of reassurance living.
